      • Take the stress out of managing your website.

We will carry out a detailed audit of your site and produce an action plan to remedy the issues highlighted. One of our dedicated Web Content Specialists will then repair the issues identified (within the constraints of your site’s platform).

We will also provide ongoing helpdesk support to create and amend content, maintain your site, provide regular or ad-hoc performance reporting and compliance checking with web accessibility and Ofsted standards.

        Key Benefits

        • A complete service to repair and maintain your website
        • A detailed audit of your site and clear repair action plan
        • Service to repair issues identified (within the constraints of your site’s platform)
        • Includes a year of helpdesk support with content creation and editing, ongoing compliance checking, reporting and liaison with third party suppliers.

        Service Details

Our Fully Managed Service will provide you with a detailed assessment of your website’s accessibility, usability and compliance with Ofsted standards. We will then take forward and implement the improvements within the Web Support Team.

The areas covered are: readability, content volume, usability, accessibility, mobile compatibility and Ofsted compliance.

Subject to having the relevant access, we will work directly with your current website and Content Management System (CMS) to edit and improve your web content. If you have opted for a new site we will use your existing content and migrate new edited content to the new site before seeking sign-off ahead of publishing.

This plan also provides ongoing support. You will get a year of helpdesk support with content creation and editing, ongoing compliance checking, reporting and liaison with third party suppliers.

If you want to enable your staff to make their own updates to the site you may like to consider our Plan 6: Web author confidence training. This covers writing for the web, using the CMS, accessibility and maintaining compliance. It costs £75 or £149 per delegate for a half or full day session at County Hall or £499 for up to six delegates at your school.

      • Getting The Most From Your Service

To get the best from our service it is useful to have a single point of contact within the school. It will also be useful to have a clear idea from the outset of the extent to which you wish to be involved in content drafting and sign-off. You may want to approve on a page-by-page basis, in bulk, or defer to our expertise within the parameters you set at the outset. Our initial client fact-find will gather this feedback.

What Your School Needs To Do

At the point of sign-up, we will contact clients with an initial fact-find to understand their requirements and collect the relevant technical information we need to work for you. This can include details of your web hosting company, any contracts you have with other web or graphic designers and other account related information.

        Quality Assurance

We regularly review our service and carry out spot-checks of work undertaken by our Web Content Advisers who will be editing your content. All clients will have a named Web Content Specialist who reports to the Account Manager. We welcome feedback on our services and this should be addressed to Edward Crouch, Account Manager via websupport@eastsussex.gov.uk
